In between matter, there is space. And this space, distance, filled with time. In my effort of reaching out to you, I question myself how can I shorten this distance? Or shift the perspective of memory and time?

“Remembering the Future” was developed during the artist’s studies at ZHdK, inspired by the concept of liminality. The project examines the intersection of memory—both individual and collective—and its connection to the collective unconscious, cultural heritage, and societal conditioning. A central element of the piece is the use of circular movement, symbolizing the continuous flow of time. Dancers were encouraged to explore their internal and collective rhythms while experimenting with varying speeds of time. This allowed the audience to actively engage with and interpret the work. Through collective exploration within the framework of the score, the project revealed diverse perspectives on memory and time, fostering dynamic movement and relational connections.
