accompanied by ivana’s resonant voice and alessandro’s dynamic electronic soundscapes, the performance takes the audience on an immersive audiovisual journey. it challenges conventional representations of the body as a static entity, instead portraying it as a vessel of constant transition and transformation—a body perpetually existing on the threshold.

premiering at the LICHTHOF theater in hamburg, liminal body vol. 2 has since been showcased at The Whole World Is a Stage, an event organized by mediaartes and supported by the embassy of switzerland in north macedonia. through this evolving work, ivana invites audiences to reconsider the boundaries of the self and the liminal spaces we inhabit.
